What are your opening times?
The H. V. Graves Butcher’s shop in Briston is open from Monday to Saturday, 7am to 5:30pm (closed on Sundays).
Our butcher’s shop in Bakers and Larners of Holt is open Monday to Saturday, 8:30 am to 5:00pm.
How much do you charge for a hog, beef, gammon or lamb roast?
The price will depend upon the location (accounting for travel expenses) and the number of people to be catered for. Generally, the greater the number of people to be catered for, the lower the price per head is. As a guide, a hog roast catering for 100 people may cost in the region of £6 per head (plus VAT). Prices are always subject to variation.
The price per head includes the provision of staff, as well as bread rolls, napkins, all required equipment, accompanying sauces and, for a hog roast only, stuffing.
Is your meat local?
Approximately 90% of the meat we supply is sourced locally. We have our own stock of cattle and pigs but because we cannot cater for all our shops, outlets and restaurants Paul Graves regularly procures cattle and pigs from local farmers.
Lamb usually comes from Chris Lakey, a Briston farmer. Our chickens are sourced from nearby Marsham, near Aylsham.
Do you deliver?
Yes. For orders over £25 we can deliver in North Norfolk for free! Orders further afield (to the rest of England) can usually be sent by courier for £7.50 (under 25kg), next day delivery.
